Dengue case: Dengue patients continue to be found in the capital Lucknow. Despite all the efforts of the Health Department, District Administration and Municipal Corporation, dengue does not seem to be under control. According to the data released by the Health Department, more than 600 new dengue patients have been found in the month of October itself. At the same time, admission of dengue patients has become common in government and private hospitals of Lucknow. Patients with high fever are reaching the OPDs of hospitals every day. Dengue is confirmed in those who are tested. On Monday also 34 new dengue patients have been confirmed.

For effective control of dengue disease, as per the instructions of Chief Medical Officer Dr. Manoj Agarwal (CMO Dr. Manoj Agarwal) by the team of Municipal Malaria Unit and District Malaria Officer, around Babu Banarasi Das, Ismailganj, Aishbagh, Shardanagar, Rajajipuram, Mallahi Tola, Triveninagar ward. Nearby areas were visited.

34 new dengue patients found

A total of 34 dengue positive patients were found in Red Cross, Aliganj, Kakori, Silver Jubilee, Tudiyaganj, Malihabad, Indiranagar, Chinhat, NK Road, Alambagh etc. areas of Lucknow. At the same time, a total of 3472 houses and various mosquito-borne conditions were surveyed and notices were issued on finding mosquito-borne conditions in total 12 houses.

Keep these things in mind to prevent dengue:-

• Water should not stagnate around the house.

• Keep pots and tanks filled with water covered.

• Empty the cooler after a few intervals, wipe it dry with a clean cloth and use it again after cleaning.

• Advice on wearing full sleeves.

• Do not allow children to leave the house.

• Apply anti-mosquito cream.

• Sleep only with a mosquito net.
