Auto Industry: September is over. Data has been released regarding the sale of two-wheelers by car and motor companies. According to the information presented by different companies, there is a boom in the auto industry. Almost all companies have made gains in their sales. TVS Motor Company has registered a growth of 9% with sales of 379,011 units in September 2022 as against 347,156 units sold in the month of September 2021.

Total two-wheeler sales grew by 9% from 3,32,511 units in September 2021 to 3,61,729 units in September 2022, registering a growth of 9% in September 2022. Domestic two-wheeler sales registered a growth of 16% to 283,878 units from 244,084 units in September 2021. The motorcycle registered a growth of 2% with sales of 169,322 units in September 2022, up from 166,046 units in September 2021. The scooter registered a growth of 39% with sales increasing from 104,091 units in September 2021 to 144,356 units in September 2022.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited has given information

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd on Saturday reported a 27.55 per cent increase in overall sales in September to 86,750 units. The company had sold 68,012 units in the same month last year. Domestic sales stood at 72,012 units in September 2022 while exports were at 14,738 units. “This is the highest total monthly and domestic monthly sales figure recorded by the company since its inception in 2006,” Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL) said in a statement.

Maruti Suzuki India sales doubled

Country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India on Saturday reported a two-fold increase in total wholesale sales to 1,76,306 units in September.

The company was able to ship 86,380 units in September 2021 due to acute shortage of electronic components. Last month, the company’s domestic sales had grown two-fold to 1,54,903 units as against 68,815 units in September 2021, Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) said in a statement. Sales of mini cars including Alto and S-Presso increased to 29,574 units as compared to 14,936 in the same month last year.

Similarly, sales in the compact segment including Swift, Celerio, Ignis, Baleno and DZire increased to 72,176 units from 20,891 units in September 2021.
Sales of the mid-size sedan Ciaz increased to 1,359 units as compared to 981 units in September 2021. MSI said sales of utility vehicles including Vitara Brezza, S-Cross and Ertiga increased to 32,574 units as against 18,459 units in the year-ago month. The company said exports have increased to 21,403 units from 17,565 units in the same month last year.
