From today the holy festival of Hindus Navratri has started. During these nine days many devotees observe fasting. Meanwhile, Indian Railways has announced a special meal for the fasting passengers during the festive season. During this period, people traveling across India to celebrate the festive season will be able to enjoy a special menu called ‘Vrat Thali’ by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).

Let us tell you that Indian Railways has shared the information of Vrat Thali on its Twitter. To get this meal, passengers need to place an order by calling 1323. IRCTC will provide this facility at 400 stations. During the journey in the railway, passengers will be served food without onion and garlic.
