The killers have no terrorist connection

Jaipur, Those who slit the throat of Hindu tailor Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur may not have connections with terrorists. It is being told that after taking over the investigation of this case, the National Investigation Agency, NIA has said on the basis of preliminary investigation that there is no evidence of any terrorist connection in these. Earlier, Rajasthan Police’s investigation was being said that one of the two killers had a connection with Pakistan and there was news of his association with an organization named Dawat-e-Islam.

However, on Thursday, the third day of the Udaipur incident, the Udaipur District Court sent both the murder accused to 14-day judicial custody. It is being told that NIA will bring them to Jaipur with transit remand. Earlier there was talk of taking them to Delhi, but now it may not be so. Earlier on Thursday evening, the Rajasthan Police produced both the accused in the court amid heavy security arrangements. In the court, the lawyers raised slogans against both the accused.

Meanwhile, the state government has suspended the SHO and SI of Dhanmandi police station in Udaipur, and many more policemen can also be suspended. Tension remained in many areas even on the third day of the murder i.e. on Thursday. There is news of stone pelting on a silent procession taken out by people of all society, after which the tension increased further. Internet remained suspended in most parts of Rajasthan on Thursday as well. Curfew continued in Udaipur for the third consecutive day on Thursday and Section 144 has been imposed in the entire state for a month.
