The history of Ranchi ground is in favor of Team India, there is a chance to repay the old account from New Zealand
India vs New Zealand 2nd T20: The second match of the ongoing three-match T20 series between India and New Zealand will be played in Ranchi on Friday, September 19. The history of Ranchi’s JSCA Ground is with Team India. So far there have been two matches of T20 International and Team India has won both these matches. Now in the third international T20 match to be held on this ground on Friday, Team India will try to maintain its record. If this happens, then the three T20 match series with New Zealand will also be captured by Team India.
There is tremendous enthusiasm among the spectators regarding the match to be held on Friday in this stadium with a capacity of about 39 thousand spectators. The first International T20 match on this ground was held on 12 February 2016 with India and Sri Lanka and in this Team India won an easy victory by a margin of 69 runs. At the same time, the second T20 match was held with Australia on 7 October 2017, in which India defeated Australia by 9 wickets.
This is the second time that the teams of New Zealand and India will face each other in an international match on this ground. Both the teams met here on 16 October 2016 in the One Day International match, in which New Zealand defeated India by 19 runs. From this perspective, India has a chance to settle the five-year-old defeat at this ground.
Let us tell you that after almost 2 years in JSCA Stadium, an international match will be played on 19th November. Earlier in 2019, a Test match was played against India-South Africa at JSCA Stadium. The T20 match is happening here after almost 4 years.
