England vs India 4th Test: Tomorrow i.e. from Thursday 2 September, the fourth Test of the five-match series between India and England will be played. After India’s defeat in the Leeds Test, this series has come to a very exciting juncture. England have leveled the series 1-1 by winning the third Test. In such a situation, the fourth match has become very important for both the teams. Whichever team wins this match, its chances of losing the series will be over.

Such has been the performance of Team India in the Oval

The English team has always dominated Team India at The Oval in London. India has so far got only one victory at The Oval, which it got 50 years ago in 1971. India has played 13 Test matches so far, out of which it has lost five and drawn seven matches.

Ashwin may get a chance

The pitch at The Oval remains very dry. Here the batsmen get help in the beginning, but from the third day the mood of the pitch changes and then the spinners start getting help here. In such a situation, captain Virat Kohli can give a chance to star off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin here. Apart from this, Shardul Thakur may return in place of Ishant Sharma, who was ineffective in the third Test.

Two changes fixed in England’s team

England may have won the third Test, but in the Oval Test, she can take the field with two changes. Vice-captain Jos Buttler will miss the fourth Test due to the birth of his second child. In such a situation, Dan Lawrence or Ollie Pope can be given a chance in his place. Apart from this, Chris Woakes can return in place of Sam Curran. Sam has not been in form and could not leave much mark in the first three Tests.

Probable playing XI of India- KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (captain), Ajinkya Rahane (vice captain), Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammed Shami, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammad Siraj.

England’s probable playing XI- Haseeb Hameed, Rory Burns, David Malan, Joe Root (c), Jonny Bairstow (wk), Ollie Pope/Dan Lawrence, Moeen Ali, Chris Woakes, Ollie Robinson, Craig Overton, James Anderson.
