Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel has called the last five years of the state government an era of good governance. In his address to the joint session of the Legislature on Monday, he said that in the last five years, work has been done to lay the foundation of development in the state. Now in the next five years, a grand building of development will take shape on this foundation. For this, work will be done to increase investment in Uttar Pradesh, strengthen infrastructure and make the state a leading state in the country. Congratulating him for the historic mandate in the recent assembly elections, he said that in the next five years, my government will now compete with itself to further strengthen the good governance. Timeline will be fixed, focus on performance based work
In the address of about an hour, the Governor mentioned the efforts being made by the government in all areas including housing to social security, pension schemes, industrial investment, infrastructure development, education, health, women’s upliftment. Through the House, he gave a message that work would be done while fixing the timeline for implementation of projects and focus would be on performance based works.
Governor said that like before, my government will be ready to provide transparent and accountable governance and honest and sensitive administration to the people of the state. For this purpose, separate groups of all the ministers of the state government have been constituted. By visiting different districts, direct communication is being established with the people according to ‘Government at your door’. Along with this, special efforts are being made to solve the problems of the respected citizens of the weaker sections of the society.
He expressed confidence that whatever promises have been made to the people of the state through Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra-2022, the government is determined to fulfill these promises and for this sector wise 100 days, 06 months, 01 year, 02 Major action plans for the year and five years have been prepared. Work on these action plans has already started.
