Last Saturday, El Salvador President Nayib Bukele said this while related to the closing ceremony of the program of bitcoin promotion. He said that bitcoin has done many things to increase investment and use of cryptocurrency in El Salvador and also doubled its investment. The bitcoin city that will be built will be built in the eastern area of La Union. The city will be developed in a new way using bitcoin and will not attract any tax other than VAT (Value Added Tax).
President Bukele said that "Invest here and earn as much money as you want as this place is completely dedicated to" The President informed about the infrastructure of the city and said that the aerial view of the city would be similar to bitcoin. At the same time, airport will also be built in this bitcoin city with commercial and residential buildings. Along with this, Nayib Bukele said that he plans to issue an initial bond in El Salvador in 2022 which is a part of the ongoing plans for bitcoin.
