State DGP Dilbag Singh said that the terrorist has been identified as Mohammad Aslam Sheikh. The terrorist has confessed during interrogation that he had planted the bomb on the bus and bus stand of Ramnagar. He carried out this terrorist attack on 28 September at around 3 pm. During interrogation, he told that he was getting instructions from a Pakistani handler, Mohammad Amin Bhatt alias Khubayb.

The DGP said, “Definitely, Pakistan and its agencies want that peace should not be restored in the Valley and there should be an atmosphere of peace.” However, now the situation has improved and is happening continuously. Responding to Amit Shah’s visit to Kashmir, Singh said, “If terrorists do such an activity before the visit of a VIP, which sends a message that all is not well in the valley, then we will see them.” Few more terrorists are left in the valley and our operation is on against them.
