The bus fell into the bridge after going uncontrolled going to Maharashtra, 13 people died.

Indore/Bhopal | MP Bus Accident: There has been a major accident on the first Monday of Sawan in which 13 people have died so far. This case is of Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh from where the bus was going to Maharashtra. In Khalghat, this passenger bus became uncontrolled and broke the railing of the bridge and fell into the Narmada river. In this horrific accident, all 13 people aboard were killed. A police officer gave this information. Expressing deep grief over the bus accident, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a telephonic conversation with his Maharashtra counterpart Eknath Shinde, an official said. With this, he informed about the accident. Most of the passengers killed in the bus accident on National Highway No. 3 (Agra-Mumbai Road) were from Maharashtra and Rajasthan, the official said. The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has given instructions to the officers to bring their dead bodies to their homes with respect.

Earlier 50-55 people were expected to board

MP Bus Accident: According to the information, this bus with train number ‘MH40 N9848’ left from Indore in Madhya Pradesh for Amalner in Maharashtra at 7.30 am on Monday. At the same time, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra told the media in Bhopal that those who were fleeing from the river were considered to be left. But according to the latest information, only 13 people were in that bus and all have died. Earlier, Mishra had claimed that 15 passengers on board the bus had been rescued, while the primary estimate was that 50 to 55 passengers were on board.

Accident happened in rescue of bike rider

MP Bus Accident: Mishra said that so far it has come to the fore that the bus fell into the river from the bridge while trying to save a motorcycle and this preliminary information has been received from eyewitnesses. Indore’s Inspector General of Police (IG) Rakesh Gupta told the media that so far the bodies of 13 people have been found. He said that apart from the driver, information has been received about the presence of 12 passengers in this bus. He said that the process of identification of the bodies which have been found is going on. He said that five people have been identified so far. Of these, three were residents of Jalgaon in Maharashtra and two were from Rajasthan. Gupta said that this bus was going from Indore to Amalner at the time of the accident.
