Textile machinery exhibition organized in Coimbatore from June 24
An exhibition of textile machinery, accessories and parts is being organized in Coimbatore from June 24 to 27. Union Textiles Minister Piyush Goyal will inaugurate the fair and Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L. Murugan will also take part in the inauguration.
The event will be held at Codisia Trade Fair Complex from 10 am to 6 pm. Around 233 exhibitors will display machinery and accessories in 312 stalls.
This year the focus will be on import substitution and the exhibition is being organized by SIMA. The exhibition was not organized for the last two years due to COVID-19.
The organizers have confirmed that 50 per cent of the stalls were booked within a day and this year there has been an overwhelming response from the exhibitors. While 140 exhibitors are from Tamil Nadu, the rest are from other states and some are representatives of foreign companies.
