Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Goa, Uttarakhand and Manipur Vidhan Sabha 2022 has been announced. Different agencies are doing their own survey about whose government will come in which state. Meanwhile, India Today Mood of the Nation has also brought out its survey, which has been done jointly by India Today and C Voter. It has been told in this survey that if the Lok Sabha elections are held now, then which party will get how many seats? Will BJP get majority, is the popularity of PM Narendra Modi still intact, how is the popularity of PM Modi in the five states where assembly elections are being held? Let’s know the figures revealed in the survey:

If Lok Sabha elections are held today, who will get how many seats

If the Lok Sabha elections are held in the country today, out of the total 543 seats, 296 seats will be in the account of BJP-led NDA. The Congress-led UPA is projected to get 126 seats, while the others seem to be losing 120 seats. Party wise, BJP is still emerging as the largest party in the country. If elections are held today, BJP can get 271 seats on its own. Compared to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, it is losing about 32 seats. Similarly, Congress can get around 62 seats when elections are held now, while others are expected to get 210 seats.

Narendra Modi is still the frontrunner in the race for the post of PM

Narendra Modi is still at the forefront of the survey as the first choice for the post of Prime Minister. 53 percent of the people consider him the first choice for the post. At the same time, 7 percent considered Rahul Gandhi as the first choice for the post of PM, 6 percent chose Yogi Adityanath for the post of Prime Minister, while 4 percent people said Amit Shah as their choice.

NDA can get 67 seats in UP

Now let’s talk about UP, where voting is going to happen soon. If the Lok Sabha elections are held today, the BJP-led NDA is likely to win 67 Lok Sabha seats in UP. Similarly, SP has been predicted to win 10 seats, BSP 2 and Congress 1 seat.

PM Modi’s rating tops in UP, displeasure seen in Punjab

PM Modi is a big factor in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2022. When the people of this state were asked how is the work of PM Modi in their eyes, 75 percent said their performance as good. 16 per cent said poor, while 9 per cent termed PM Modi’s performance as average. Talking about Punjab, it is the only state among the five electoral states, where the number of people who called PM Modi’s work bad was the highest. In the survey, when the people of Punjab were asked for ratings on the work of PM Modi, 37 percent called it good, while 44 percent said bad, 16 percent said their work as average.

Uttarakhand, Goa, Manipur highly appreciated the work of PM Modi

Talking about Uttarakhand, like in UP, the number of people who described the work of PM Modi as good was very good. In the survey, 59 percent people called PM Modi’s work good, 20 percent bad, while 16 percent said his work as average. Talking about Goa, here 67 percent called PM Modi’s work good, 20 percent bad, while 13 percent said PM Modi’s work as average. In Manipur too, the number of people saying good to PM Modi was very good. Here 73 percent gave good to PM Modi, 18 percent called his work bad, while 8 percent said his work as average.

Functions of Prime Minister as compared to Chief Ministers better report card

In the survey, ratings were also sought on the performance of the Chief Ministers of the five electoral states, but more than 50 percent people liked the work of the CM of any state. Compared to the Chief Ministers, PM Modi was the only one whose number of people who liked his work in different states crossed 50 percent. According to the survey, 49% expressed satisfaction with the work of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. Talking about Punjab, only about 33% people were happy with the work of CM Channi. 41% people were satisfied with the work of Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami. 27% people are satisfied with the performance of Goa CM Pramod Sawant, while around 39% people are satisfied with the performance of Manipur CM N Biren Singh.
