Chirag Paswan while talking to the media in Delhi questioned the future of JD(U) and BJP government in Bihar. He said- the alliance will break soon due to differences between the two parties.
By-elections to Bihar’s Tarapur and Kusheshwarsthan assembly seats will be held on October 30. Earlier, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan has said that all is not well between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Janata Dal (United). Bihar government will fall soon.
Let us inform that Chirag Paswan, in a scathing attack against Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, on Thursday questioned the future of the JD(U)-BJP government in the state. He said that the alliance would soon break due to differences between the two. Speaking to the media in Delhi, Chirag claimed that there is discontent among the people against the Nitish Kumar-led government due to the “increasing rate of crime and corruption”.
Referring to irregularities in the Har Ghar Nal Kal Jal scheme exposed by The Indian Express, Chirag Paswan also accused Nitish Kumar of “saving the corrupt”.
Dispute claim: On reports of rift with BJP, he said, ‘Nitish Kumar tell one issue where do you support BJP? He demands a probe into the Pegasus case, but remains silent on the Srijan scam. He has a different stand from the Center on the caste census, and also on the population control policy, CAA-NRC. Even after that they say that they are together. It becomes difficult for people to believe such claims. These differences will lead to mid-term elections in Bihar.
Chirag attributes the loss to Nitish Kumar’s party to the LJP in the 2020 assembly elections. Significantly, in the last assembly elections, LJP had contested alone, in which JD(U) suffered losses in at least 25 seats. However, he got only one seat.
Uncle-nephew dispute: Let us inform that in view of the dispute between Chirag Paswan and his uncle Pashupati Paras over Lok Janshakti Party before the by-elections in two seats in Bihar, the Election Commission has allotted different election symbols and party names to both. In which the election symbol of Chirag Paswan will be helicopter and the name of the party will be Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas). So the name of the party of Union Minister Pashupati Paras will be Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party and the election symbol will be Sewing Machine. Let us inform that on behalf of the uncle-nephew, their claim was being made about the symbol of Lok Janshakti Party, which has been abolished by the Election Commission.
