LJP (Ram Vilas) spokesperson Ashraf Ansari said, “The resolution passed by the state parliamentary board in this regard will be sent to the party’s national president.” All the leaders present in the meeting wanted an alliance and we are leaving it to our national president to find an alternative. Whether this alliance will be with NDA or with any other party, it is for our national president to decide.”
People watching the matter closely said that the party will probably have an alliance with RJD and Chirag Paswan can make an announcement regarding it on November 28, the party’s foundation day. It has also been said, quoting sources, that out of 24 seats in the Legislative Council, RJD has offered 5-6 seats to Chirag Paswan’s party.
When asked about this matter, LJP (Ram Vilas) state president Raju Tiwari said, “We are in talks about the alliance, but cannot say with whom this alliance will be because it is still in its initial stages.” Presently, LJP (Ram Vilas) has no representation in any house of Bihar. They had the only MLA who joined the JD(U), while the party has two factions, the LJP (Ram Vilas) has only one MP in the Lok Sabha in the form of Chirag Paswan.
