Team India’s new jersey will be launched on Wednesday: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today announced that the Indian cricket team will be seen in a new jersey at the Men’s T20 World Cup to be held in the United Arab Emirates and Oman from October 17. The new jersey will be launched on 13 October.
BCCI tweeted, “The moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived. Join us on MPL Sport on 13th October for the jersey launch. Are you excited?” The jersey will be launched by the official kit sponsor athlete brand MPL Sports. New Jersey Navy-blue retro jersey in stripes of blue, green, white and red and inspired by the 1992 World Cup. Which the team has been wearing since the tour of Australia in November last year.

Shobhit Gupta, Head, MPL Sports, said in a statement, “This is the first time in the history of Team India that fans can buy official team jerseys at such an affordable price. Apart from the new jerseys, we offer a diverse range of jerseys for the fans. Will launch too.”
The Indian team will step on the field wearing a new jersey for the first time in their warm-up match against England on 18 October. The jersey will then be worn during India’s opening match against Pakistan in the Men’s T20 World Cup on October 24.
