Team India’s new jersey on Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, watch video

Team India New Jersey: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday launched the new jersey of Team India for the upcoming T20 World Cup. A few hours after the new jersey was launched, it overshadowed the world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa. Team India’s new jersey is slightly different from the old jersey and the fans are very excited about it. Everyone hopes that Team India will return after winning the World Cup title in the new jersey.

BCCI tweeted the video
The BCCI shared the video on Twitter and wrote, “The unveiling of Team India’s World Cup jersey at the famous Burj Khalifa gets even bigger. Watch this historic moment here.” The new jersey has been unveiled for the T20 World Cup starting October 17 in the UAE. During the light show on Burj Khalifa, photos of captain Virat Kohli, vice-captain Rohit Sharma, Lokesh Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah were seen. Till now lakhs of people have watched this video. It is fast becoming viral on social media.

India will start their campaign in the T20 World Cup with a match against Pakistan in Group-2 of the Super-12 at the Dubai International Stadium on October 24. Before this, Team India will check its preparation by playing two practice matches against Australia and South Africa on 18 and 20 October. This time the T20 World Cup is being organized in UAE and Oman immediately after the IPL, so it can prove to be a plus point for Team India.

Cricket Board of India President Sourav Ganguly said, “The Indian cricket team has fans not just in India but across the world and there could have been no better way to celebrate their enthusiasm and energy than by showing it on a jersey. There is no doubt that this will give the necessary support to the team on their way to become T20 champions.
