Under-19 World Cup: Team India continues to perform well in the Under-19 World Cup. They beat Ireland by 174 runs on Wednesday. With this victory, Team India has entered the quarter-finals. This is the second consecutive victory of Team India included in Group B. Batting first after losing the toss in the match played at Brian Lara Stadium in West Indies on Wednesday, the Indian team scored 307/5 in 50 overs.

‘Man of the Match’ Harnoor Singh scored 88 and Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored 79 runs. At the same time, Rajvardhan Hungergekar played an innings of 39 runs. In response to the big target, Ireland were bundled out for just 133 runs in 39 overs. Kaushal Tambe, Anishwar Gautam and Garv Sangwan took two wickets each. India captain Yash Dhul, vice-captain Sheikh Rashid, Manav Parakh, Siddharth Yadav, Aaradhya Yadav and Vasu Vats did not take part in the match due to corona virus infection.

Nishant Sandhu captained the Indian team. The next match of the Indian team will be against Uganda on 22 January. On the other hand, Ireland will face South Africa on January 21.
