This means that the price of the Tata Tiago EV may increase in the future. This is the fourth EV model from Tata Motors after the Nexon EV, Nexon EV Max and Tigor EV. By offering this car with two battery pack options, Tata Motors wants to woo a diverse base of buyers with daily driving needs.

The range offered by the Tiago EV with 24 kWh unit battery is around 315 km. While the Tiago EV can run up to 250 km with a 19.2 kWh battery. These driving range figures are for testing conditions. Tata Tiago Electric will come with a great range. It can cover a distance of about 300 km on a single charge.

Tata Tiago EV supports fast-charging option. Using a DC fast charger, the battery can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in 57 minutes. This is the fastest charging ever. This car can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in 5.7 seconds. It has two drive modes.
Significantly, Tata Motors has achieved 88 percent share in the electric passenger vehicle market in India on the basis of its Nexon EV and Tigor EV. The company has sold 3,845 electric vehicles including Nexon EV Prime, Nexon EV Max and Tigor EV in August 2022.
