Tata’s mini truck ‘Ace’ popularly known as Chhota Hathi has also written a new script in this sequence. Tata Motors today launched the mini truck ‘Ace’ in a new electric avatar. The special thing is that the Ace has already received more than 39000 orders before its launch.
Tata Motors has informed during the launch that the company has tied up with e-commerce companies like Amazon, BigBasket, CitiLink, DoT, Flipkart, LetsTransport, Moving and Yellow EV for supply of ‘Ace EV’. It has also received orders for 39,000 units from these companies so far.
The company will make e-cargo platform
Tata Motors has announced that the company will also create a platform in the e-cargo category to deliver solutions to meet the needs of the market. Speaking on the launch of ‘Ace EV’, Tata Group Chairman N Chandrasekaran said that the trend of sustainable transport system is global and it is also inevitable. He said that Tata Motors has made remarkable progress in the field of electric vehicles.
154 km journey in one charge
Chandrasekaran said, “We have already launched several models in the car segment.” That ‘Ace EV’ is the first product to have ‘Evogen’ powertrain which can run 154 km on a single charge. This model has a 36 horsepower motor.
