Talk of falling as soon as the government is formed
It has been a week now that the new government has been formed in Maharashtra and the discussions of the fall of the government have started. Earlier, NCP leader Sharad Pawar said that the government will not run for more than six months. Predicting the fall of the government in six months, he asked his party leaders to prepare for the mid-term elections. A day after this, Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray also said that the government will not run for six months. The three constituents of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress i.e. Maha Vikas Aghadi are making it a mismatched alliance and they feel that the collapse of the government will start with the formation of the cabinet. With the help of a virus video, Aghadi leaders are telling how Devendra Fadnavis snatched the mic of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and made him a second-rate leader.
This wish of the leaders of Maha Vikas Aghadi may be fulfilled because most of the leaders in BJP are also believing that this coalition government is not going to go ahead with the elections of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation ie BMC. If BJP wins the BMC elections, it will automatically go to the polls by dissolving the assembly ahead of time. On the other hand some leaders are of the opinion that the government will run till the Lok Sabha elections in any case and it is possible that six months ahead of time, there will be a legislative election along with the Lok Sabha. However, whatever it is, it is unfortunate that the last time the Maha Vikas Aghadi government was formed under the leadership of Uddhav Thackeray, since then the discussion of the fall of the government had started. Yet the government lasted two and a half years. Now as soon as the new government is formed, the discussion of its fall has started.
