Bangladesh vs Pakistan 2nd Test: Pakistan beat Bangladesh by an innings and 8 runs with 13 wickets on the final day of the second Test played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. With this, Pakistan won the two-match Test series by 2-0.
In this rain-interrupted Test, Pakistan declared their first innings by scoring 300 runs for four wickets. After this, Bangladesh’s team was reduced to just 87 runs in the first innings. After this Pakistan gave follow-on to the host team and after that Bangladesh team was all out for 205 runs in the second innings.
Mystery spinner Sajid Khan took 12 wickets for Pakistan. Sajid took eight wickets for 42 runs in the first innings and then made a total of four players for 86 runs in the second innings. In the second innings for Bangladesh, senior all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan scored the highest 63 runs.

By the end of the fourth day’s play, Bangladesh had lost seven wickets for 77 runs in their first innings. It looked as if this test would turn out to be a draw. But on the final day, Pakistan first bundled out Bangladesh for 87 runs with three wickets in just 10 runs and then called to bat once again after feeding the follow-on.
After this, Bangladesh’s team was reduced to 205 runs in the second innings. In the second innings for Bangladesh, Mushfiqur Rahim scored 48, Liton Das scored 45 and Shakib Al Hasan scored 63 runs. Earlier, Shakib had scored the highest 33 runs for Bangladesh in the first innings.
