Rebel ministers’ portfolios snatched away

Mumbai, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has snatched their portfolios from the rebel ministers of his government. Significantly, out of about 40 MLAs who have rebelled against Shiv Sena, nine are ministers. The leader of these rebel MLAs, Eknath Shinde, is also a minister. Uddhav Thackeray has taken the portfolios of all the nine ministers including Shinde and given them to other ministers. Eknath Shinde held the portfolios of Urban Development, PWD and MSRTC, which have been handed over from him to Subhash Desai.

The water resources department of Gulab Rao Patil has been given to Anil Parab. The Higher Technical Education Department of Minister Uday Samant, who arrived in Guwahati on Saturday, has been given to Aaditya Thackeray. The agriculture ministry of Dada Bhuse has been given to Sandipan Rao Bhumre. Keep in mind that Uddhav now has very few ministers left. Most of his ministers have rebelled. However, according to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office, the responsibility of the Home Department of Shambhuraj Desai has been entrusted to Sanjay Bansode.

Similarly, Finance, Planning, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, State Excise, Medical Education, Textile, Cultural Affairs and Other Backward Classes Welfare departments were given to Rajendra Patil, Abdul Sattar and Omprakash Kadu, respectively, Ministers of State Vishwajit Kadam, Satej Patil, Prajakt Tanpure, Aditi Tatkare and Dattatreya have been given to fill up.
