Pune: 12-year-old girl raped by middle-aged man in a public toilet…

Pune | Pune Rape Case : Cases of increasing crime against women are continuously increasing the trouble across the country. In such a situation, once again a heart-wrenching case has come to the fore from Pune city of Maharashtra. It has been told that a middle-aged man allegedly raped a 12-year-old girl. In this regard, a police officer said that the incident took place on Friday afternoon in a public toilet between Pune railway station and Maldhakka Chowk.

Police registered a case under POCSO Act.

Pune Rape Case : Police said the matter came to light when an acquaintance of the girl saw the accused entering the public toilet that the victim was using. After that he made a noise. The accused fled the spot after the girl’s acquaintance raised an alarm, the officer said. The family has registered a case with the police under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Protection of Child Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.

It is being said that even a few days ago, a middle-aged family had beaten up badly because he had misbehaved with the girl of their house. At present the accused is said to be absconding. According to the information received by the police, he is homeless and he lived in this area. The girl’s family also knows her already. Police is looking for the accused and is conducting raids continuously.
