Corona Vaccination in UP: Work is being done on a large scale in the country regarding corona vaccination. Where more than 118 crore people across the country have taken at least one dose. At the same time, more than 150 million people have received at least one dose in Uttar Pradesh, India’s largest state by population. But, still it is seen that there is confusion about vaccination among pregnant women.

Women are feeling hesitant to get the corona vaccination done. In view of this, when ‘Newstrack’ District Immunization Officer Dr. M.K. Singh (District Immunization Officer Dr. MK Singh), he told that women must be vaccinated. This will not only benefit them, but will also give relief to the unborn child.

The ability to fight disease is born by getting vaccinated.

Additional Chief Medical Officer Dr MK Singh said, there are many misconceptions among people regarding vaccination that they get sick by getting this vaccine, while this is not true. After getting vaccinated, the body gets the strength to fight the disease. A study by ‘Lancet’, ‘Indian Council of Medical Research’ and ‘Center of Disease Control’ has revealed that the infection after vaccination is not serious and life-threatening.

Along with this, the spread of infection by them to other people is also less, due to which their relatives, family and other people remain safe. ACMO also said, ‘Nature’s Journal’ has found in its study that on an average, for every 20% increase of vaccinated persons in a population, the number of previously coming Kovid cases in the same population decreases by twice.

Pregnant women must get vaccinated

Dr. M.K. Singh said that “pregnancy does not increase the risk of Kovid infection. If a pregnant gets both the vaccines of Kovid, then she herself is protected from corona, as well as her fetus is also safe. Pregnant and lactating women I have to assure that like other vaccines, there may be mild side effects after getting the Kovid vaccine, but there is no need to panic. He told that all three vaccines of Kovid, Covishield and Sputnik are completely safe for pregnant and lactating. After getting the Kovid vaccine, the pregnant and lactating have to follow the covid-compliant behavior.
