The Supreme Court has disposed of 849 cases in a month. This information has been given in the data released by the top court. According to this, till the end of August this year, 70,310 cases were pending in the court. At the same time, 849 cases were settled at the end of September. After this, there are now 69,461 cases pending in the Supreme Court. Of the 69,461 pending cases, 50,508 are admission related cases while 18,953 cases are regular.

Out of 50,508 cases related to admission, there are 38820 cases which are to be heard while there are 11,688 such cases, which are still incomplete. Means if someone’s fee is left, then no one has received the notice. At the same time, 18,894 cases are to be heard in 18,953 regular hearing cases, while there are 59 such cases, which will not be heard yet. Meaning 16.91 percent of the cases are incomplete. There will be no hearing on this at the moment.

Benches of five, seven and nine judges have been constituted for disposal of pending cases, which will hear important matters. A total of 338 cases will be heard by five judges. Of these 42 are main cases while 296 are connected. At the same time, a seven-judge bench will hear a total of 17 cases. Of these, seven are main cases while 8 are connected. At the same time, the bench of 9 judges will hear in total 135 cases. Of these, there are five main cases, while 130 are connected.
