Dabang Delhi KC beat Haryana Steelers, reached second place in the points table

Pro Kabaddi league Season 8, Haryana Steelers vs Dabang Delhi KC, Haryana Steelers defeated Dabang Delhi KC 28-25 in the 55th match of Pro Kabaddi League season 8 played at Sheraton Grand Whitefield in Bangalore on Saturday. With this win, Dabang Delhi KC has again moved up to the second place in the points table, while Haryana Steelers have come to the 7th position. In this match, the defense of both the teams performed brilliantly and tried to take most of the bonus points. Vijay completed Super 10 for Delhi, while Manjit Chillar made 3 successful tackles. Mitu Mahender got 5 raid points for Steelers, while Surender Nada, Jaideep and Ravi Kumar made two tackles each.

Both teams rely on bonus

Haryana Steelers won the toss and gave Dabang Delhi a chance to raid without Joginder Narwal. Naveen Kumar opened the account with a bonus but Mohit dashed him and gave Haryana the first point. Vijay took a touch point with a bonus to put Delhi ahead 6-2. In the Do or Die raid, Vikas Khandola took the points to level the Steelers 6-6. Steelers’ defense got the third point by getting Naveen out for the third time. After dismissing Vikash Khandola, Delhi again got Naveen back on the mat. Surender Nada reduced Delhi’s lead by first tackling Naveen then Ashu Malik. Jaideep equalized the score by tackling Vijay. The first half ended on 11-11 and the five defenders of Haryana Steelers scored points.

Delhi beat Steelers without Naveen

In the second half, Manjeet Chhillar tackled Meetu Mahender and Vikas Khandola to put Delhi ahead 14-12. Its Naveen took a point but injured his knee. After which the Steelers again took the lead. The last 10 minutes of play were left and Sandeep Narwal returned to the mat. Jeeva Kumar tackled Mitu Mahender and leveled Delhi. After this, Ashu Malik took the bonus and touch point in the Do or Die raid to take Delhi ahead by two points. Vikas Khandola dismissed Manjit Chhillar to give Steelers a one point lead, but in the next raid, Vikas was tackled by Sandeep to level the score again. In Do Or Die, Vijay super raided Delhi to lead 28-24 and ensured Delhi’s victory.
