Shimla | Himachal Pradesh government has given a big gift to women. Making a big announcement on Himachal Divas, the Chief Minister of the state Jai Ram Thakur has announced to charge only half the fare in government buses from all the women of the state. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also congratulated the people of Himachal Pradesh on the 75th Foundation Day and appreciated the work of the Himachal Pradesh government.

CM Thakur said – a big contribution of women in the progress of the state
Himachal Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur announced relief in the fare of government buses to women at a state level program organized in Chamba today on the occasion of Himachal Day. While praising the women of the state, Thakur said that women have also contributed a lot in the progress of the state. In such a situation, now women will have to pay only half of the fixed fare in government buses.

First free travel for women on these two festivals
Let us tell you that the Himachal Pradesh government has earlier provided free travel to women in government buses on Raksha Bandhan and Bhaiya Dooj. The Rajasthan government has also been providing free travel facility to women in buses on the occasion of Rakshabandhan festival. Let us tell you that the Himachal Pradesh government is celebrating the 75th foundation day of the state. During this, a state level program was organized in Chamba district. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, Speaker Vipin Parmar and Forest Minister Rakesh Pathania also attended the function.
