The names of the persons caught by the police are Harsh and Tushar, while the names of the absconding accused are being told as Anuj and Akash, who tried to dupe a victim by posing themselves as officers of the Central Bureau of Investigation. The Dhampur police, who arrested him, recovered a mobile phone, a forged letter and a fake warrant letter from his possession.

Additional Superintendent of Police Bijnor Dr. Praveen Ranjan said that information was received that on Tuesday in Dhampur police station area New Dhampur City Colony, when four youths introduced themselves as members of a CBI team, and went to the house of bank manager Neeraj Kumar. Arrive. On immediate information, the police reached the spot and both the accused were apprehended. When asked about the CBI team, they could not produce any documents. While two accomplices managed to escape.

Victim Neeraj Sharma told that, asked for documents of his bank, income and property. When he suspected the CBI team, and refused to show the documents. On this, the four youths threatened the bank manager to call the police. At the same time, when the bank manager himself talked about calling the police, the accused youth got furious and started trying to run away. The bank manager made noise and with the help of local people caught the two accused, and informed the police. While the two youths fled.

The SP said that a case has been registered against the accused Harsh and Tushar under sections 171, 468, 465, 466, 420, 452, 471, 342, 386, 506, 120B of the IPC. A team has been constituted to arrest the absconding accused. The police officer said that the matter is being further investigated to find out his misdeeds. (IANS)
