Instructions for filing status report in Ankita murder case

Dehradun. The famous Ankita murder case of Uttarakhand has now reached the High Court. While hearing the matter, the court has directed the SIT to file a status report along with the case diary. The next hearing will be on November 3.

Ashutosh Negi of Pauri Garhwal filed a petition saying that after the Ankita murder case, important evidence related to the case was destroyed by bulldozers at Vanantara Resort on the instructions of Yamkeshwar MLA Renu Bisht. Even the sheet was disappeared from Ankita’s room. The petition has demanded a CBI inquiry into the entire matter. A single bench of senior judge Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra, while hearing the matter, has directed the SIT to file a status report.

It is noteworthy that 19-year-old Ankita Bhandari used to work as a receptionist at Vantara Resort in Yamkeshwar in Pauri district. She suddenly disappeared from 18-19 September, after which her search began. In this case, after the name of Pulkit Arya, son of BJP leader Vinod Arya and the owner of the hotel, there was an outrage among the people. After this matter, BJP has already suspended Vinod Arya. Along with this, the police had arrested three people including Pulkit Arya. (IANS)
