Santosh Yadav, who has conquered Everest 2 times, became the first woman chief guest of RSS

The 54-year-old climber has climbed Mount Everest (8,848 m) twice. He scaled Everest for the first time in 1992 and then for the second time in 1993.

Mountaineer Santosh Yadav reached RSS headquarters as chief guest.

The Vijayadashami festival is being celebrated at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Headquarters Nagpur. Every year a grand event is organized here on the occasion of Dussehra. Tricolor waving on top of Mount Everest India’s first woman mountaineer Santosh Yadav was made the Chief Guest. RSS For the first time in the history of the U.S., a woman was invited as the chief. RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis are also present in the ongoing Vijayadashami celebrations at the Sangh headquarters.

RSS invited Santosh Yadav as chief guest. This is the first time in the Sangh that a woman has been made the chief guest. Padma Shri awardee Santosh Yadav along with Mohan Bhagwat paid floral tributes at the statue of Sangh founder Dr Hedgewar. He said that people used to ask me whether you are a Sanghi? It was because of my behavior. Then I didn’t know what a union was. It is my fortune that I am here with you today. Santosh Yadav said that our Sanatan Dharma and culture teaches us to balance all the five elements (5 elements). We need to be healthy.

Sangh working for the welfare of the whole world- Santosh Yadav

Santosh Yadav, who became the RSS chief guest for the first time, said that the volunteers of the Sangh are working for the benefit of the whole world. I want your work to increase. Sir Sangh Director Mohan Bhagwat said that the tradition of the presence of women of the society as guests in the programs is old. The branch system of person formation runs separately for men and women, union and committee. In all other tasks, men and women together complete the work.

Santosh Yadav, a mountaineer who has scaled Mount Everest not once or twice with his feet, lives in village Joniyawas of Rewari district in Haryana. The 54-year-old climber has climbed Mount Everest (8,848 m) twice. He scaled Mount Everest for the first time in 1992 and then for the second time in 1993. That is, in two consecutive years, the tricolor was waved in the Everest peak twice. Santosh Yadav was awarded the Padma Shri in 2000.

‘Sanatan culture frozen in the holy land of my India’

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said, ‘Sanatan culture was born on the holy land of my India. From the Himalayas to the ocean. Therefore, it is the responsibility of all of us Indians to adopt the Sanatan Sanskrit declaration, propagate it all over the world, with full awareness and should be involved in its promotion for the welfare of mankind. He said that the work of creating distance and enmity among different sections of the society on the basis of selfishness and hatred is going on even in independent India.
