Elephants created havoc in villages, destroyed many houses

Pathalgaon, In Chhattisgarh’s Jashpur Forest Division, two different groups of elephants created ruckus in residential areas for hours in 4 villages of Tapkara forest range today. Here the elephants destroyed 5 houses and also trampled and damaged the paddy crop in the fields. There is a lot of anger among the villagers due to the troop of elephants trampling the crops of the farmers in all the villages. In the Tapkara forest range, elephants created a ruckus for hours in Dhanvarasand, Kandaibahar, Sajbahar. There is a lot of resentment among the villagers due to the non-cooperation of the women forest workers. Efforts are being made to get immediate compensation in all cases of damage caused by elephants.
