Milk Price Hike: Milk prices have once again shocked the common man. The country’s two leading milk companies Amul and Mother Dairy have increased milk prices by Rs 2 per liter. The increased prices will be applicable from Wednesday, August 17.
Amul has decided to increase milk prices by Rs 2 per liter in the markets of Ahmedabad and Saurashtra region in Gujarat, Delhi NCR, West Bengal, Mumbai and all other markets, Amul said in an official statement. Now 500 ml Amul Gold will cost Rs 31, Amul Taza Rs 25 and Amul Shakti Rs 28, the statement said.
Mother Dairy also increased prices
Mother Dairy has decided to increase milk prices by Rs 2 per liter in Delhi-NCR. Mother Dairy had increased milk prices by Rs 2 per liter in Delhi-NCR (National Capital Region) in March. Mother Dairy is one of the leading milk suppliers in Delhi-NCR market and sells more than 3 million liters per day through poly packs and vending machines.

- Full cream milk – Rs 61
- Toned milk – Rs 51
- Double Toned Milk – Rs 45
- Cow’s milk – Rs 53
- Token milk – Rs 48
