Disappointed with the High Court for the workers removed from the assembly

Nainital. The Uttarakhand High Court heard the petition of six ad-hoc employees who were removed from the state assembly but have not given them any relief at the moment. In this matter, the Assembly Secretary has been asked to clarify the situation by October 14.

On behalf of the removed employees Kuldeep Singh Rauthan, Sakundeep Singh, Kunwar Singh Rana, Dev Dutt, Balwant Singh Joshal and Mahavir Singh Butola, the matter has been challenged by filing a separate petition. The matter was heard in a single bench of Justice Manoj Kumar Tiwari.

It was stated on behalf of the petitioners that they have been wrongly removed. There is no complaint or allegation of irregularity against him. Nor has the government given him any opportunity of being heard before removing him. On behalf of the petitioners, on the basis of the removal letter of September 28, while objecting to the word public interest, it was said that no one can be removed from service in public interest. They have been placed in the service against the sanctioned and vacant posts. The petitioners sought a stay on the December 14 order.

On the other hand, it was said from the government that all were appointed under improvisation. He has been placed on service on the basis of only one application. The court did not accept the plea of the petitioners for stay and asked the assembly secretary to clarify the position in all the cases. Along with this, instructions have been given to link all the cases with the 14 cases filed earlier. Thus a total of 20 cases have reached the High Court. Now all the cases will be heard on October 14. (talk)
