If you also want to change your picture in your Aadhar card, then for this you have to go to the Aadhar center. You can apply to change your photograph by visiting the nearest bank branch or post office. It is important to know here that here you have to take a new photo with the help of webcam as before. Passport size photo provided by you will not be accepted. It may take up to 90 days for the photograph to be updated in the Aadhar card.
Complete procedure to change picture in Aadhar card
- Visit the Aadhar Enrollment Center / Aadhar Service Center.
- You can download and carry the ‘Aadhaar Enrollment Form’ from the UIDAI website. You will also find this form in the center.
- Fill this form thoroughly and give it to the executive sitting in the center. Also, give your biometric details.
- After this, the person at the center will take your live picture.
- Now you have to pay Rs.25 more GST charges.
- After payment, you will get an acknowledgment slip, which will contain the Update Request Number (URN).
- You can check the updated status of Aadhar card using URN.
- After updating your photo in Aadhar card, you can download it online.
process to update mobile number in aadhar card
- Visit the Aadhar Enrollment Center / Aadhar Service Center.
- Fill the Aadhaar update form correctly in the center.
- Enter your existing mobile number in the form.
- After this, the executive sitting in the center will do your biometric authentication and register your request. For updating mobile number, you will have to pay Rs 50 as fee.
- After making the payment, you will get the slip, which will contain the Unique Reference Number (URN). With its help you can get information about updates.
