Varanasi | Gyanvapi Mahant Controversy : In the past, the matter of Gyanvapi has been in discussion from social media to main stream media. People have different opinions on this and everyone is waiting for the court’s decision. In such a situation, Mahant Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati of Srividya Math in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh today set out to worship the alleged Shivling found in Gyanvapi. However, AA Swamiji was stopped by the police from entering the mosque premises on Saturday for worship. Saraswati had announced on Thursday itself that she would go on June 4 to offer prayers to the alleged Shivling found in the vazukhana of the mosque complex.

Gyanvapi Mahant Controversy : Let us inform that during the videography survey of the mosque premises, which was done on the orders of the local court last month, it was said that Shivling was found near the Vazukhana. Police stopped him as soon as he left for the mosque premises
Gyanvapi Mahant Controversy : The police stopped Saraswati citing law and order as soon as she left for the mosque premises from the monastery at Kedar Ghat in Varanasi. Saraswati, while describing the Shivling found in the survey as Adi Vishweshwar, has argued that the Lord cannot be kept without worshiping till the court’s decision to resolve this dispute. He said that we should be allowed to worship because it is accepted by all that outsiders had come and destroyed the temples, in such a situation, when the matter has come to the fore, then worship should not be stopped.
