Under the initiative of Dakshin Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Dakshin Gujarat Chamber Trade and Industries Development Centre, a grand ‘Yarn Expo-2022’ was organized at Surat International Exhibition and Convention Center, Sarsana during 20th, 21st and 22nd August, 2022. Chamber President Himanshu Bodawala said that today on Sunday buyers from Algeria, Egypt and Sudan visited the yarn exhibition and got information about different varieties of yarn. Apart from this, weavers, textile industrialists and traders from all over the country are coming to the exhibition. Genuine buyers and visitors especially from South India and North India cities like Erode, Ichalkaranji, Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, Coimbatore, Haryana, Hyderabad, Panipat, Varanasi, Warangal, Ludhiana, Indore, Amaravati, Bangalore etc. bought yarn during two days. visited the exhibition.

The fourth edition of Yarn Expo is presented by the Chamber this year. Special types of yarns including all types of yarns like polyester, nylon, viscose, cotton and cationic yarns like antibacterial yarns, imitating silk yarns, siro effect yarns, granite yarns, hemp yarns, flax yarns, polyester yarns like wool, cotton stretch . Yarn, recycled yarn, eco gold bio degradable yarn, total text yarn for sports wear and fire retardant yarn etc. are on display.
