Surat: Environment week celebrated at Hazira port with the message of environmental protection and green development

Adani Hazira Port Lee. Various environmental awareness programs were organized under World Environment Week by Adani Group at (AHPL). Events like online quiz, webinars, offline quiz, environmental awareness talks among activists and villagers, drawing, poetry, slogan competition and jute bag distribution, nature walk, tree plantation were organized.
Besides tree plantation at Rajgarigam near Hazira, Tulsi and almond saplings were distributed among primary school children as a pledge of ‘no plastic’. Prizes were distributed in honor of the winners of various competitions organized under Environment Week. On this occasion, Chief Operating Officer Ashwin Rai Kundalia also spoke about Environment Protection and Pollution Prevention, Biodiversity and Triple Bottom Line in the Port Complex.
