CBP Athletics-2K22 was organized by CB Patel Health Club of Surat for its members and for sports lovers and fitness lovers of Surat. The one-month long event culminated on Saturday at CB Patel Ground, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University. Lt Col Sohan Roy, famous as a bike rider, was present as the chief guest on the occasion. They had reached the venue by bike ride from Pune. At the same time, the tricolor of 92 feet was also hoisted on the occasion.
Program was running since last one month
Giving information about the event, Anita Singh Health Director and General Manager (CB Patel Health Club) said that CB Patel Health Club had organized CBP Athletics 2K22 from September 13 for its members and sports and fitness lovers of Surat. All types of sports were included in this event. The main event of this month-long event was held on Saturday at CB Patel Ground, VNSGU.
Events aimed at increasing the interest of youth
Chief guest Lt Col Sohan Roy inaugurated the event. The tricolor of 92 feet was also hoisted on the occasion. The event started with the national anthem. Sports 100 meters, 200 meters Athletics sports like 400 meters run, relay race, long jump, high jump were played. Chief guest Lt Col Sohan Roy encouraged the contestants with his address. At the same time, Gujarat is the host of the 36th National Games these days, in such a way that the support of this event and the interest of youth towards sports increased, this was also one of the objectives of this entire event.
