strange rule

The basic question is, at whose behest did the whole matter of returning the card get discussed? It is worth noting that such news started coming from the beginning of May. These reports were being published quoting local officials.

Consider this news and also consider the confusion of lakhs of people of Uttar Pradesh. The news is that more than 50 thousand people in this state have returned the ration cards for fear of recovery. But now the state government has said that it has not given any order regarding recovery or card refund. So the basic question is, at whose behest did the whole matter of returning the card become popular? It is worth noting that since the beginning of May, such news started coming from many districts. These reports were being published quoting local officials. In many places, a proper announcement was being made about this by beating Duggugi. The effect of this was that people in all the districts started surrendering ration cards by standing in lines. Such news continued to be published in the newspapers for many days and was shown on TV channels. As a result, people started surrendering ration cards by standing in lines. But neither the local authorities nor the state government gave any explanation in this regard. After that the Congress party held a press conference in Lucknow and targeted the government fiercely for the alleged new rules of ration card and ration recovery.

The party said that the BJP government distributed a lot of ration by filling it in bags bearing pictures of its leaders to get votes. Now he is ready to recover that ration from the people. Soon after, a statement was issued by the state’s Food and Logistics Commissioner Saurav Babu. It said that all these news are fake and misleading. No order has been issued to make any recovery or surrender the ration card. The Food and Logistics Commissioner clarified that the same rules are applicable for ration cards as were applicable on 7 October 2014 – that is, after the National Food Security Act was enacted. But the question is, when there was noise in the media about this, why did the government keep silent?
