Stock Market Updates: Market starts on red mark, Sensex falls 158 points below 57,650

Stock Market Opening: Today, after mixed signals from the global markets, there have been mixed trading signals in the domestic stock market as well. The Sensex is trading with a fall of more than 150 points in the beginning today itself. The BSE Sensex is trading at 57,647.75, down 158.74 points or 0.27 percent. Nifty is visible in the opening at 17,201.45 and has opened with a slight decline of about 12 points.

What is the market trend in pre-opening
Today, if we look at the trend in the pre-opening of the market, initially the market was showing bullish momentum, but at 9.8 o’clock, the Sensex was trading at 57,743.47 after a slight fall of 63.02 points or 0.11 percent. Nifty was trading with a slight decline of 17201.50 points or 12.10 points.

How is the condition of Asian markets
If we look at the business trend in Asian markets this morning, then mixed business is being seen in it. Nikkei, Taiwan and Strait Times are down and the rest of the indices are trading higher. In today’s trade, Japan’s Nikkei is trading down 12.86 points or 0.04 percent. Korea’s Kospi is trading with a gain of 5.21 points or 0.17 percent. On the other hand, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading with a gain of 43.91 percent or 0.19 percent. China’s Shanghai Composite is seeing a slight increase of 0.01 per cent and Taiwan Index is also up 0.08 per cent. On the other hand, Strait Times is trading with a fall of 0.22 percent.

Top gainers in the market – Top losers
29 out of 50 stocks of Nifty are seen trading with a decline and 18 shares are trading with a boom and 3 shares are seen with no change. Tata Consortium has a jump of 1 per cent in the market’s highest climbers. Wipro 0.90 percent, Tech Mahindra and Tata Steel both are on the rise of 0.68 percent. Titan is trading at a gain of 0.61 percent.

On Wednesday, the third trading day of the week, there was a fall in the stock market. Yesterday, the BSE Sensex slipped 90.99 points or 0.16 per cent to close at 57,806.49, while the Nifty lost 19.65 points or 0.11 per cent to close at 17,213.60.
