Stock Market Today: Sensex-Nifty closed with gains, Titan’s shares rose more than 5 percent

Stock Market Today: After a day’s trading, the BSE Sensex, the main index of the BSE, has closed at 60,284.31 with a gain of 148.53 points, or 0.25 per cent. Apart from this, the Nifty-50 index (NIfty-50) has closed at the level of 17,991.95 with a gain of 46.00 points or 0.26 percent. In today’s trade, Nifty made a high of the level of 18,008.65. At the same time, the Bank Nifty index closed at 38,521.50 with a gain of 227.70 points or 0.59 percent.

Today, 13 out of 30 Sensex stocks have closed in the red mark after a day’s trading. Apart from this, 17 stocks have closed with gains. During today’s trading session, Titan jumped 5.5 percent and closed at the level of 2494.35. Apart from this, Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Finserv, SBI, Nestle India, ITC, Axis Bank, Tata Steel, HUL, Kotak Bank, Reliance, Asian Paints, Bajaj Finance, Dr Reddy, LT and HDFC all closed in the green.

Top Loser Stocks
Today HCL Tech has been in the list of top loser shares. Shares of HCL closed at the level of 1249 with a fall of 4 percent. Apart from this, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, NTPC, Marit, Power Grid, Sun Pharma all closed in the red mark.

There was mixed business in the sectoral index
Talking about the sectoral index, selling was seen in the Healthcare, IT and Tech sectors in this list. Apart from this, BSE Auto, Capital Goods, Consumer Durable, FMCG, Metal, Oil and Gas and PSUs closed with gains.

Buying in smallcap and midcap indices
Smallcap and midcap stocks have also seen a rise in today’s trading. BSE Smallcap index closed at 29582.26 with a gain of 75.90 points today. Apart from this, the midcap index climbed 169.60 points and closed at the level of 26147.96.
