Stock Market Today: Sensex (BSE Sensex) and Nifty (Nifty-50) have closed in the red mark amid day-long volatility in the stock market. BSE’s main index Sensex has closed at the level of 60,352.82, down 80.63 points or 0.13 percent. Apart from this, the Nifty index closed at the level of 18,017.20, down by 27.05 points or 0.15 percent.

Talking about the top-30 stocks of BSE, today 17 stocks have closed in the red mark. Apart from this, 13 stocks closed in the green. In the list of declining stocks, IndusInd Bank closed at 1032 points, down 3.38 percent. Apart from this, stocks of Tata Steel, HUL, Asian Paints, Power Grid, Titan, HDFC Bank, Kotak Bank, SBI, Maruti, Bajaj Auto, ICICI Bank, NTPC, TCS, HCL Tech and Bajaj Finance saw a decline.

These stocks closed in green mark
Apart from this, today the shares of Bharti Airtel were the top gainer with a rise of 3.16 percent. Apart from this, the shares of M&M, Reliance, Sun Pharma, ITC, Dr Reddy, Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra, Nestle India, HDFC, LT and Infosys closed in the green.

There was mixed business in the sectoral index
Talking about the sectoral index, FMCG, Healthcare, BSE Auto, Oil and Gas and Tech sectors have closed in the green in today’s trading. Apart from this, selling has been seen in all sectors. Bank Nifty, Capital Goods, Consumer Durable, BSE IT, Metal and PSU sectors closed in the red mark.

Smallcap-Midcap Index
Apart from this, Smallcap Index, Midcap and CNX Midcap Index also closed with red fall. Smallcap index closed at the level of 29317.63. Apart from this, BSE Midcap fell 132.13 points to close at 26388.03 level. At the same time, CNX closed at the level of 32044.50 with a fall of 141 points.
