Maruti’s shares closed at the level of 7785 with a gain of 2.2 percent. Apart from this, the stocks of Titan, NTPC, SBI, LT, HDFC, TCS, Bajaj Auto, Bharti Airtel, Axis Bank, HUL, Bajaj Finance and Sun Pharma closed in the green.

Smallcap-Midcap index rises
The BSE Smallcap, Midcap and CNX Midcap indices were up today. The smallcap index closed at the level of 28605.70 with a gain of 312.65 points. Apart from this, the midcap index has closed at the level of 25860.41 with a gain of 140.23 points. At the same time, the CNX index closed at the level of 31281.00 with a gain of 257.30 points.
