Hima Das Corona Positive: Indian athlete Hima Das has been hit by Corona (Covid-19). At present he is in isolation. He himself informed about his being Kovid positive by tweeting. He said that I have been found corona positive. I am fine and currently in isolation.
21-year-old Hima Das had recently reported for the national camp at the National Institute of Sports (NIS) in Patiala and was about to start her training. However, on reaching Patiala, he was showing mild symptoms.
Hima tweeted and said, “I want to tell everyone that I have been found corona positive. I am fine and currently in isolation. I will use the time to recover and come back stronger than before.” Everyone stay safe and wear a mask.”

Let us tell you that Hima last participated in the Olympic qualifying event, the Inter State Meet, where she suffered a hamstring injury in the 100m heats. After this she withdrew from the 100m finals and 4x100m women’s relay, but did participate in the 200m finals. Hima could not qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics due to missing the qualification mark.
