SRH vs MI: Mumbai won the match against Hyderabad by 42 runs, but did not get a place in the play-offs

Manish Pandey (69 not out in 41 balls, seven fours, two sixes), Jason Roy (34) and Abhishek Sharma (33) played useful innings for Sunrisers. For Mumbai, James Neesham took 28, Jasprit Bumrah 39 and Nathan Coulter-Nile took two wickets for 40 runs. Ishan scored 84 off 32 balls while Suryakumar scored 82 off 40 balls as Mumbai made 235 for nine, which is the team’s highest score in IPL history. This is also the highest score of IPL 2021. Ishan hit 11 fours and four sixes in his innings while Suryakumar hit 13 fours and three sixes. Mumbai’s earlier highest score was 223 for six, which they made against Kings XI in the 2017 season.

Jason Roy and Abhishek Sharma beat Mumbai’s hopes
Jason Roy (34) and Abhishek Sharma (33) chasing the target, adding 60 runs in five overs, dashed Mumbai’s hopes of a place in the play-offs. Trent Boult gave the first blow to Hyderabad by getting Roy caught by Krunal Pandya. The team scored 70 runs for one wicket in the power play.

At the same time, Mumbai scored 83 runs for one wicket in the power play. Ishan took the team’s score beyond 100 runs in the eighth over with a six on Rashid. Hardik Pandya (10), sent up in the batting order, caught Roy on the ball of Holder. Young fast bowler Umran Malik gave a big blow to Mumbai by getting Ishan caught by wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha in the next over. Holder was Hyderabad’s most successful bowler, taking four wickets but spending 52 runs for it. Rashid took 40 while Abhishek took two wickets for four runs. Umran took one wicket for 48 runs while Kaul spent 56 runs and did not get any wicket. Nabi took five catches which is a new IPL record.
