SpiceJet’s Mumbai-Durgapur flight hit by storm, 12 passengers injured, probe ordered

New Delhi | SpiceJet’s Mumbai-Durgapur flight crashed while landing at the airport due to atmospheric disturbance, injuring 12 passengers. Those who have been admitted to the hospital. However, the flight landed safely in the accident that took place at West Bengal’s Durgapur airport and the injured were immediately taken to a hospital for treatment. SpiceJet has expressed regret over the incident.

DGCA ordered an inquiry

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered a regulatory inquiry this morning into the incident that took place at Durgapur airport on Sunday. Whose statement said, we are deploying teams for regulatory investigation and medical reports of injured passengers are awaited. Let us tell you that this incident happened when SpiceJet’s Boeing B737 aircraft going from Mumbai to Durgapur came under atmospheric disturbance during landing. The DGCA said that some passengers who have suffered head injuries are undergoing treatment. According to the DGCA, three cabin crew members were also injured in the incident.

Passengers are afraid of falling down the luggage placed on the seats
