Britain: Rishi Sunak will be the leader in the race?

London. Indian-origin Rishi Sunak, who kept on becoming Prime Minister a month and a half ago, has increased the chances of becoming the Prime Minister of Britain. After the resignation of Prime Minister Liz Truss, Sunak’s name is once again discussed and party MPs want him to become Prime Minister. Although party MPs wanted Sunak to become Prime Minister even after the resignation of Boris Johnson last time, he had won by voting for him, but later he was defeated by the vote of activists of the Conservative Party. But now again Sunak is being said to be the most popular in the opinion poll being held in Britain.

However, after losing the race for the post of PM, Sunak did not become a minister in the government of Liz Truss. However, there was a demand to make him the Finance Minister. In fact, Sunak has been consistently saying that the Liz Truss’s financial planning is not well-planned and could worsen the highest inflation rate in decades and worsen British market conditions. Rishi Sunak has been proved completely right. Then Truss removed his finance minister and appointed Jeremy Hunt, who supported Rishi Sunak, as finance minister.

Apart from Sunak, the other name in the discussion is that of former Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Liz Truss was elected prime minister only after she stepped down. After several hints from Johnson’s side, it seems that he may finally try to become prime minister again. In Britain, he is still popular among a section of Conservative MPs as the face of Brexit. However, his name has been affected due to many controversies like party to economic decisions in many Corona times. Despite this, she is more popular than Liz Truss in the survey.

Apart from Rishi Sunak and Boris Johnson, two more names are being discussed, who will be in the race for the post of Prime Minister. One of these names is that of the current Finance Minister Jerem Hunt. Many Conservative leaders are suggesting his name. Another name is that of Penny Mordont. In the last vote of Conservative MPs, she lost to Sunak by just eight votes. He is very popular among the members of the Conservative Party and in 2016 he openly supported Brexit. He was sent this week to respond to allegations by the opposition Labor Party, which has raised his profile.
