On 2 June 1987, Sonakshi Sinha was born in a Hindu family in Patna (Bihar), and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Sonakshi Sinha is the daughter of Indian actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha. Her mother’s name is Poonam Sinha, a housewife who was a former Miss Young India (1968).
He has two twin brothers named Luv Sinha and Kush Sinha. She is the youngest child in her family.

Sonakshi Sinha was a brilliant student who received her diploma from Arya Vidya Mandir, Mumbai. She had never considered pursuing a career as an actress.
When Sonakshi was young, she used to accompany her father to the shooting places of many films. Sonakshi used to work during Lakme Fashion Week, and she also worked there as a fashion designer.
From there, Sonakshi got interested in acting and modeling. Eventually, Sonakshi decided to make a career in the film industry.

- Before venturing into films, she worked at Lakme Fashion Week as an usher (a person who shows people how to sit) and has been a fashion designer. During that time he was inclined towards acting and modeling.
- In 2010, Sonakshi Sinha made her acting debut with the film Dabangg opposite Indian actor Salman Khan. She received the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for her role in Dabangg.
- Later, she appeared in several Hindi films like Rowdy Rathore (2012), Son of Sardaar (2012), Dabangg 2 (2012), and Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty (2014).
