The plan has been sent to Dilip T Shahani, Professor Emeritus of IIT-Delhi. by RBI and Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India (SPMCIL) under Ministry of Finance. Professor Shahani has been asked by the government to choose from the two sets and keep it for final consideration.
