Six killed in three road accidents in Dehradun

Dehradun. In Dehradun district of Uttarakhand, Sunday proved to be a dark day since morning when six people died in road accidents at three places. Among the dead, two youths are from Mizoram, while a youth from Gujarat is seriously injured.

A police spokesman said that two youths were going from a TVS Apache without a number at 6:15 am on Balliwala flyover, under police station Vasant Vihar. Due to high speed, he collided with the railing of the flyover, causing serious injuries. The injured were taken to Synergy Hospital. Where motorcycle rider Vijay Semwal (Vijay sompal) son Rajendra Prasad Semwal, resident of Upper Badrish Colony, Lane No. 02 Dharampur Danda, age 26 years was declared dead. Sameer son Kirat, original address Gujarat age 25 years, who was traveling with him, was referred to AIIMS hospital in a critical condition.

The second accident took place at 6:05 am today near Shani Mandir, GMS Road, under Kotwali Patelnagar. In which Raghuvir Thakur, a person crossing the road, was hit by a bike driver Gautam.

The third incident took place under Tuni police station. In which a Bolero pickup vehicle UK-07CD-0843 fell down the road near Birsad Khad towards village Atal, about one kilometer ahead of village Anu.
